On October 15, 2022, PACS celebrated its 50 years of service to the Phoenixville community with its 50th Anniversary Casino Night Gala. Held at the Phoenixville YMCA, the event brought together community members and leaders, including Lois Gould, PACS' First Executive Director, who was honored for her service.
“It’s amazing to consider how PACS started in a small office on Gay Street with some donated furniture and a few volunteers,” said Mary Fuller, PACS Executive Director. “In the years since, staff, volunteers, and donors have devoted significant time and resources to helping PACS become what it is today, the leading resource for food security in Phoenixville.”
The 50th Anniversary Gala offered a time to celebrate PACS’ efforts to feed its neighbors and a chance to look to the future and recognize what still needs to be accomplished. With food prices soaring, PACS continues its efforts to find new and innovative ways to help people access food.
"We're grateful to the Phoenixville community for their support," said Fuller. "From volunteers to sponsors and donors, it's incredible to see so many people and organizations coming together to help us fulfill our mission."
